Verse 24 is found in chapter 33 of Job. Elihu presents the possibility of a messenger or mediator who explains to a person what he should do and announces deliverance. The language combines judgment, rescue, and restoration. The idea echoes Job’s desire for a mediator, although Elihu now presents such a figure as an instrument through whom God can teach and restore.
